The Rugby Union Academy looks to give players the opportunity to play rugby locally, nationally and around the globe, whilst also having the opportunity to experience different cultures, meet new people, build friendships and visit beautiful places.
NEW ZEALAND TOUR 2020
The Rugby Union Academy will meant to embark on it's first international tour to New Zealand from 10th April - 20th of April 2020. The touring party consisting of 22 players and 3 staff, would have made their way around the North Island of New Zealand, participating in 4 matches over 10 days. However, due to Covid-19, 2 weeks out from departing for this tour, we were given the terrible news that it would not go ahead.

MEN'S (Fifteens) & WOMEN'S (Sevens) RUGBY & CULTURAL TOUR to SPAIN - DECEMBER 2020 / JANUARY 2021
The Rugby Union Academy is currently seeking expressions of interest for an opportunity of a lifetime, to travel and participate in a rugby and cultural tour of Spain in December 2020 / January 2021. Spain is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Positioned on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, it is a country rich in history, with castles, sun, beautiful beaches and colourful cities. The Spanish rugby Federation was founded in 1923. The game of rugby is not new to Spain, however, they are still developing their rugby, therefore, making this a perfect place to tour.
The tour will consist of 3 - 4 rugby matches, as well as a diverse look at various historical building and sites, beautiful cities, beaches and towns that Spain has to offer. All players will need to be a minimum of 18 years of age to register for this tour. The itinerary is currently being priced, therefore the cost would be TBA.

U18 BOYS RUGBY & CULTURAL TOUR to SOUTH AFRICA (10th APRIL – 26th APRIL 2021)
The Rugby Union Academy is currently seeking expressions of interest for a tour to South Africa in April of 2021. South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with diverse culture.
This would be an outstanding opportunity to experience 4 rugby matches, cultural exchange, and explore the wildlife and beauty it has to offer including a safari, Table Mountain and Robben Island. We are looking to take a boys u18 team on this trip of a lifetime.

U16 BOYS RUGBY & CULTURAL TOUR to IRELAND & SCOTLAND (25th SEPTEMBER – 7th OCTOBER 2021)
The Rugby Union Academy is currently seeking expressions of interest for a tour to Ireland & Scotland in September 2021. Ireland & Scotland are both rich in history, boasting historical castles, beautiful countryside and quaint villages.
This would be an amazing opportunity to experience 4 rugby matches, cultural exchange and explore the beauty that these two countries have to offer. We are looking to take a boys u16 team on this trip of a lifetime.
